Each of the four nations in the UK (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland & Wales) has its own financial support arrangements for students (for example, student loans funded by the government, fee grants, course grants and fee waivers). The type and level of support you are entitled to varies, and depends not only on where you live but on your income, previous qualifications, level of intended study and whether you are a new or continuing OU student.
